No. 13 California Splits Doubleheader at Arizona
Despite a four run eighth inning, the No. 13 California Golden Bears fell short of a full comeback, falling to the No. 22 Arizona Wildcats, 10-8 in game one of Sunday's doubleheader. In game two, the Bears used a four-run inning, five-run inning, and a six-run inning to take the final game against the Wildcats, 17-7.
Cougars Rally Past Bruins in the Ninth
PULLMAN, Wash. - For eight innings Sunday, Washington State had one hit and trailed No. 16 UCLA 2-0. In the ninth, the Cougars (13-14, 2-7 Pac-10) came up with three runs on five hits to stun the Bruins (16-11, 7-2 Pac-10) 3-2 in Pacific-10 Conference baseball at Bailey-Brayton Field.
