The Pac-10 has five teams ranked in the Baseball America poll: Oregon State (3), Arizona State (8), California (20), Stanford (21) and UCLA (24). The Pac-10 and the ACC are tied for the most ranked teams of any conference with five.

Arizona continues to lead the Conference in hitting with a .323 batting average, which ranks sixth in the NCAA. Wildcats hold the top three spots in the conference statistics, with SO OF Joey Rickard batting .404 to lead all players. Rickard ranks 24th in the country.

Although Oregon State saw its 11-game win streak come to an end in a 2-0 loss to Washington State on Saturday, the Beavers have still won all four of their Pac-10 series this year.

Arizona State swept Cal in Berkeley for the first time since 2003. The 17-inning marathon game on Thursday was the second-longest game in history for both schools.

Oregon won its first Pac-10 series of the season after taking two of three from Arizona.

OSU SO RHP Tony Bryant and Stanford JR LHP Chris Reed were both named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Midseason Watch List for the nation's top relief pitcher.

By earning his fifth Pac-10 Pitcher of the Week honor this season, UCLA JR RHP Trevor Bauer joined five other pitchers, including Mark Prior (USC) and Tim Lincecum (WASH) to top the list for multiple selections in one season.

Bauer continues to lead the nation in strikeouts with 127 this season. He tied his career high with 17 strikeouts on Friday.

Stanford SO RHP Mark Appel has struck out at least six batters in each of his last four starts, with a 1.42 ERA over that span.

The Pac-10 has five teams ranked in the RPI top-50, with ASU at No. 3 behind Virginia and Florida.
