Dallas Escobedo Muscles No. 1 Arizona State Past OSU
TEMPE, Ariz. - Even with a flat offensive outing, the No. 1 Arizona State Softball Team on the strength of another stellar complete-game shutout from Dallas Escobedo pulled away with a 1-0 win over the Oregon State Beavers Friday night. Escobedo struck out eight en route to her 22 win on the year to move to 22-3 overall as ASU improves to 43-5 on the year and 10-3 in Pac-10 play. The Beavers fall to 18-20 overall and 1-12 in conference play.

Gerhart's Sacrifice Fly Lifts Cardinal Over Huskies
STANFORD, Calif. - Sophomore pitcher Teagan Gerhart hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh as the No. 13 Stanford softball team defeated No. 11 Washington, 2-1, Friday, at Smith Family Stadium. The Cardinal improves to 34-10 overall and 7-6 in the Pac-10, while the Huskies fall to 31-9 on the season and 6-7 in the conference.
