Bears Best Beavers, 4-0, in Eight for Series Sweep
CORVALLIS, Ore. -It took eight innings in two hours and 23 minutes, but the No. 7/8 California softball team pulled out a 4-0 win over Oregon State on Sunday afternoon. Jace Williams hit the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the eighth and Ashley Decker upped it to 4-0 with a double to power the Golden Bears to the series sweep.
Youth Served for #12 UCLA in Senior Day Win Over #11 Arizona
LOS ANGELES - The 12th-ranked Bruins honored their five seniors prior to Sunday's game against #11 Arizona, but it was an outstanding effort from the underclassmen that boosted UCLA to a victory, as sophomore Destiny Rodino and freshman Jessica Hall combined on a six-hitter in the circle and sophomore Devon Lindvall and freshman Alyssa Tiumalu each homered in a 5-1 win at Easton Stadium.
No. 1 Softball Collects Third Straight Pac-10 Sweep With 6-2 Win Over No. 13 Washington
SEATTLE, Wash. - With Katelyn Boyd and Kaylyn Castillo going three-for-four at the plate and Mackenzie Popescue dealing in the circle, giving up only four hits, the top-ranked ASU Softball team collected their third straight Pac-10 series sweep Sunday afternoon, downing No. 13 Washington 6-2. The win moves Popescue to 13-2 on the year as ASU improves to 48-5 overall and 15-3 in Pac-10 play with a two game lead with only three left to play. UW drops to 32-13 overall and 7-11 in conference action as well.

EUGENE - The University of Oregon softball team (37-13, 9-9) held on for a 4-2 win Sunday at Howe Field and took the season series from Stanford (37-13, 9-9) for the first time since 2007.
