TEMPE, Ariz.--No. 1 Arizona State (55-6) is once again Oklahoma City bound as the top-ranked Sun Devils defeated the 16th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies (44-17) 4-2 in the NCAA Super Regional from Tempe, Ariz., Friday.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The No. 15 seed Stanford softball team fell, 1-0, to No. 2 seed Alabama, Friday, in the elimination game of the Tuscaloosa Super Regional at Rhoads Stadium. The Cardinal ends the year at 42-17 overall, while the Crimson Tide moves on with a 51-9 record.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The 11th-ranked Stanford softball team was shut out, 10-0 in five innings, at No. 3 Alabama, Friday, in the second game of the Tuscaloosa Super Regional at Rhoads Stadium. The Cardinal falls to 42-16 overall, while the Crimson Tide improve to 50-9.
Cats Fall to Oklahoma in Super Regional Opener
Arizona had plenty of opportunities, but could not score a run against Oklahoma and ace Keilani Ricketts. The Cats fell to the Sooners 6-0 and pushed UA to the brink of elimination. Arizona will have to win twice Saturday to earn a trip to the Women's College World Series.
