Pac-10 Track And Field Athletes Head To NCAA Championships

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Pac-10 student-athletes will vie for individual and team national titles at the 2011 NCAA Division I Track and Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, this Wednesday through Saturday, June 8-11. Drake University is the host.



LIVE RESULTS... Live results from the NCAA Championships will be available on both NCAA.com and GoDrakeBulldogs.com.



LIVE COVERAGE... CBS will provide television coverage on Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12. Coverage on Friday, June 10, will be provided from 6:30-8:30 p.m. CDT on CBS Sports Network. Saturday's coverage, from 12-2 p.m. CDT, will be carried on the CBS network, with Ian Eagle calling the action, along with analysis and interviews from Larry Rawson, Carol Lewis and Dan O'Brien.



ONLINE STREAMING... The entire NCAA Championships will stream live online at NCAA.com, and feature two separate streams to cover the majority of the action both on the track and with the field events.



PAC-10 ELITE... Pac-10 schools have won an unprecedented 45 of 85 NCAA men's team titles (USC 26, UCLA 8, OREGON 5, STANFORD 4, ARIZONA STATE 1, CALIFORNIA 1), while six of the 28 women's titles have gone to Pac-10 teams (UCLA 3, ARIZONA STATE 1, OREGON 1, USC 1). Pac-10 men have won 321 individual NCAA titles, while Pac-10 women have claimed 111 individual NCAA titles.



THE BOWERMAN... Washington State senior Jeshua Anderson is one of 10 men's student-athletes on The Bowerman Official Watch List. On the women's side, USC senior Nia Ali (hurdles/jumps), Arizona sophomore Brigetta Barrett (jumps) and Oregon sophomore Jordan Hasay (distance) are among the top 10 on The Bowerman Official Watch List.
