This Week in Pac-12 Women's Soccer
STANFORD (8-0-1) remains in the top spot in the NSCAA poll after posting back-to-back shutouts over Portland and then-No. 19 Santa Clara. UCLA (7-0-1) and CALIFORNIA (7-1-0) move up to No. 3 and 17, respectively, while OREGON STATE (6-2-1) comes back into the rankings at No. 24.
WASHINGTON STATE (6-2-1) midfielder Beau Bremer has been named Bank of the West Pac-12 Women's Soccer Player of the Week for Sept. 12-19. The Scottsdale, Ariz., native scored her first two collegiate goals Sunday in the Cougars' 2-1 overtime win over Idaho. This is the freshman's first Pac-12 Player of the Week honor and the 10th all-time selection for Washington State. It's also WSU's second Player of the Week honor for the 2011 season.
