SAN JUAN, P.R. -- Carlon Brown scored 23 points and Colorado defeated Western Michigan 81-76 in the seventh-place game of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off tournament on Sunday.

SALT LAKE CITY - Senior guard Josh Watkins hit a game-high 22 points, but the University of Utah men's basketball team lost to Montana State, 70-64, in a non-conference game Saturday at the Jon M. Huntsman Center.

Cal Poly 42, USC 36 
LOS ANGELES (AP) - David Hanson hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:26 remaining to lift Cal Poly to a 42-36 victory over USC on Saturday, snapping the Mustangs' nine-game losing skid against Pac-12 schools.

DAVIS, Calif. (AP) - Anthony Brown had 14 points and six rebounds, Dwight Powell scored 13 points and Stanford used a big run in the second half to pull away and beat UC Davis 70-49 on Friday night.

NEW YORK -- Arnett Moultrie had 19 points, 10 rebounds, three kinds of cookies and an MVP trophy.

The 6-foot-11 junior forward celebrated his 21st birthday with the big outing as Mississippi State beat Arizona 67-57 on Friday night to win the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer at Madison Square Garden.
