Ducks, Bruins To Face Off In Eugene
WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--The OREGON Ducks defeated OREGON STATE in the regular season final to capture a share of the Pac-12 North Division title and will host South Division champion UCLA in the inaugural Pac-12 Football Championship Game to be played Friday, December 2, in Eugene, Ore.
Oregon finished with an 8-1 record in Pac-12 play to join STANFORD in a tie atop the North Division. Due to its 53-30 victory over Stanford on Nov. 12, Oregon claims the tiebreaker and as champion will be the North Division participant in the Championship Game.
UCLA will participate in the Pac-12 Championship game as the South Division champion. Due to NCAA probation, USC is ineligible for the postseason and not permitted to play in the Pac-12 Championship Game.
The Pac-12 Championship Game will be televised by FOX at 5 p.m. PT.
