ANAHEIM, Calif. - Washington State University men's basketball (2-4) couldn't hold onto its 14-point second-half lead, as it fell to UC Riverside (2-4), 64-63, Sunday in the seventh-place game in the 76 Classic at the Anaheim Convention Center.

DePaul 68, Arizona State 64
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Cleveland Melvin had 18 points and Brandon Young added 13 to help DePaul hold off a late charge by Arizona State and secure a 68-64 win on Sunday in the fifth-place game of the Old Spice Classic.

BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - Allen Crabbe and Justin Cobbs were roommates on their recent road trip to Kansas City for the CBE Classic. They hardly spoke after No. 20 California's surprising 39-point blowout loss to 21st-ranked Missouri in the championship. The Golden Bears were stunned and embarrassed to be beaten that badly. They flew home the next day and regrouped.

Oregon State 66, Towson 46
TOWSON, Md. - President Barack Obama watched brother-in-law Craig Robinson guide Oregon State to a 66-46 victory over Towson on Saturday afternoon at the Towson Center Arena to equal the Beavers (5-1) best start since the 1980-81 season.

USC 63, South Carolina 60
LAS VEGAS (AP) - Maurice Jones scored 28 and converted all seven of his 3-pointers to lift USC over South Carolina 63-60 in the final round of the Las Vegas Invitational Saturday night.

UNC Asheville 87, Utah 65
PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas (AP) - J.C. Primm scored 20 points to lead four Bulldogs in double figures as UNC Asheville routed Utah 87-65 Saturday night.

NEW YORK- Kris Joseph stumbled getting up after the postgame news conference and knocked over a chair.
"Another turnover," deadpanned Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim.
It's easy to make jokes after a win, and Boeheim's latest wisecrack followed the fifth-ranked Orange's 69-63 victory over Stanford on Friday night in the championship game of the NIT Season Tip-Off at Madison Square Garden.

New Mexico 72, Washington State 62 
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Faisal Aden scored 25 points to lead Washington State (2-3), which closed to within seven points in the second half but that's as close as it got in the 72-62 loss to New Mexico on Friday night in the 76 Classic.

SEATTLE - Lorenzo Romar was yanking starters off the floor so often, the Huskies' bench area could have used a turnstile to track all the substitutions.

Massachusetts 90, Utah 75 
PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas (AP) - Jesse Morgan had 15 points, all coming on 3-pointers, as Massachusetts beat Utah 90-75 on Friday night.

UNLV 66, USC 55 
LAS VEGAS (AP) - Byron Wesley and Aaron Fuller each finished with 16 points to lead USC (2-4). Wesley had five rebounds and Fuller fouled out with 6:06 left. Maurice Jones had 11 for the Trojans which lost 66-55 in the Las Vegas Invitational Friday night.

Arizona State 84, Wake Forest 56 
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - Keala King had 25 points and Trent Lockett added 20 as Arizona State beat Wake Forest 84-56 in a consolation round game at the Old Spice Classic on Friday night.

NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) - Utah fell to Harvard 75-47 in the first round of the Battle 4 Atlantis on Thursday night.

Washington State 59, Oklahoma 74
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Oklahoma pulled away in the second half to beat Washington State 74-59 on Thursday night in the 76 Classic.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - Arizona State Fell to Fairfield 55-44 in the first round of the Old Spice Classic on Thursday night.

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Solomon Hill scored 14 for Arizona, but was just 4 of 12 from the field as the Wildcats shot 33 percent overall. Freshmen Josiah Turner and Nick Johnson added 10 apiece for No. 23 Arizona which was upset by San Diego State 61-57 on Wednesday night and broke the Wildcats' 22-game home winning streak.

Oregon 83, Nebraska 76
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Four players scored in double-figures to lead the University of Oregon men's basketball team to an 83-76 road win over Nebraska on Wednesday evening. The Ducks improved to 3-1 overall with the victory, while the Huskers dropped to 3-1 on the year.

UCLA 63, Michigan 79
LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) - Travis Wear had 16 points, Joshua Smith and Jerime Anderson 12 each for UCLA which fell to No. 15 Michigan 79-63 on Wednesday in the Maui Invitational.

Stanford 82, Oklahoma State 67
NEW YORK (AP) - Josh Owens made his first nine shots from the field and finished with a game-high 21 points to lead Stanford to an 82-67 victory over Oklahoma State on Wednesday night in the semifinals of the NIT Season Tip-Off at Madison Square Garden.

Colorado 76, Air Force 73
AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - Askia Booker hit a 3-pointer and Andre Roberson got a key block and layup in overtime to help Colorado to a 76-73 victory over Air Force on Wednesday night.

LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) - Elijah Johnson scored 23 points and No. 14 Kansas nearly blew all of a 20-point lead before pulling away for a 72-56 win over UCLA in the semifinals of the Maui Invitational on Tuesday night.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Kim English had 19 points to lead six Tigers in double figures and No. 21 Missouri dominated No. 20 California 92-53 on Tuesday night to win the CBE Classic.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Maurice Jones hit the go-ahead free throw with 1:57 remaining and Aaron Fuller had a key steal late to help Southern California beat Morgan State 65-62 on Tuesday night.

LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) - Lazeric Jones had 19 points, Jerime Anderson added 18 and UCLA ran past Chaminade in the second half for a 92-60 victory in the first round of the Maui Invitational on Monday.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Harper Kamp was perfect from the field and finished with 16 points, Jorge Gutierrez added 14 and No. 20 California cruised into the CBE Classic championship game with a 70-46 rout of overmatched Georgia on Monday night.

#16 Vanderbilt 64, Oregon State 62
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) - There was plenty of talk about Brad Tinsley's 15-foot jumper with 4.5 seconds left that gave No. 18 Vanderbilt a 64-62 victory over Oregon State on Monday night in the championship game of the TicketCity Legends Classic at Izod Center.
