WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — OREGON STATE senior Leslie Mak and UCLA junior Vanessa Zamarripa have been awarded Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week and Pac-12 Special Performance of the Week honors, respectively, for the week of Jan. 9-15, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today.

Senior Leslie Mak helped propel the No. 7 Beavers to a 196.525-195.975 victory over No. 4 ranked Oklahoma. The reigning Pac-10 Gymnast of the Year took the all-around title earning a score of 39.400. The Toronto, Ontario, native, helped the Beavers take a hold of the lead with a 9.900 on the bars and 9.875 on the beam. The O'Fallon, Ill., native, won both events in which she competed, taking first on the vault with a perfect score and a 9.900 on the bars.
