Arizona Women's Swimming had another exciting performance in the second day of the NCAA Championships as the Wildcats broke three school records and saw impressive finishes from two more relay teams.
Women's Swimming and Diving in 10th Heading into Final Day
Led by senior Rebecca Ejdervik, the 21st-ranked Arizona State women's swimming and diving team is in 10th place after the second day of competition at the 2012 NCAA Championships, hosted by Auburn, Friday. Overall the Sun Devils recorded four top-10 finishes on the day for a team total of 99 points.

Hosszu Defends NCAA 400y IM Title With Record Swim
Senior Katinka Hosszu obliterated the NCAA record in the 400y IM to defend her title and led USC to a school record in its fourth-place 800y free relay while senior Victoria Ishimatsu earned All-American honors on 3-meter to pace No. 7 USC's efforts during the second evening at the 2012 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday.
Swartz Places 23rd in 100 Back
Day two of the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at James E. Martin Aquatics Center featured University of Utah junior Traycie Swartz in the 100 back. Swartz, the current Utah record holder, touched in a time of 53.14 to tie for 23rd in the event. Tess Simpson of Texas A&M also recorded 53.14 seconds.
