TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State softball team fell to Louisiana, 6-0 in the opening game of the NCAA Super Regional on Thursday night at Farrington Stadium in in front of a crowd of 1,663. The Sun Devils will try to even the series against Louisiana in game two of the NCAA Super Regional in Tempe on Friday at 6 p.m. The two teams will play game three (if necessary) on Friday at 8:30 p.m., both time PT.

Women's College World Series Bound, Arizona State Homers Past Louisiana
TEMPE, Ariz. - Home runs fueled the Sun Devils, as the Arizona State softball team (51-9) will make its 10th appearance at the Women's College World Series. ASU topped Louisiana (53-6) twice on Friday- logging 9-2 and 8-0 (6) victories to capture the Super Regional series.
Cats Drop Game One to Oklahoma
TUCSON, Ariz. - Thirteenth-seeded Arizona (38-18) will have to sweep Saturday's doubleheader to continue its season after fourth-seeded Oklahoma (49-8) beat the Cats 6-0 on Friday.

Ducks Punch WCWS Ticket With Day 2 Sweep of Horns
AUSTIN, Texas - With its 5-4 and 10-6 victories Saturday, the #11 seeded University of Oregon softball team (44-16) beat #6-seeded Texas (47-13) for its first Super Regional wins in school history Saturday. The Ducks now look ahead to its second Women's College World Series trip (and first since 1989), and also erased the frustration of 0-2 Super Regional sweeps at Missouri and Florida the past two years.
Arizona Eliminated By Oklahoma
Fourth-seeded Oklahoma (50-8) routed 13th-seeded Arizona (38-19) to get to the Women's College World Series for the second consecutive season, leaving Arizona home in June for just the third time in the last 25 years.

BERKELEY - With a two-run homer from Cheyenne Cordes homer that cleared the scoreboard in left field and a nine-strikeout, three-hit performance from Jolene Henderson, the No. 1 California softball team beat Washington 2-0 to book a trip to Oklahoma City for the Golden Bears' 12th appearance in the Women's College World Series.
