ARIZONA: T&F Men Finish in Seventh at NCAA Championships
Des Moines, Iowa - The University of Arizona Wildcat men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up competition at the NCAA Track and Field Championships. The meet was hosted by Drake University at Jim Duncan Track and Johnny Bright Field.

ARIZONA STATE: CHAMPION!: Clarke Defends NCAA Shot Put Title
DES MOINES, Iowa - Jordan Clarke defended his NCAA outdoor shot put title and the Arizona State University track and field team finished competition Saturday at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.

CALIFORNIA: Chelsea Reilly Takes 9th in 5000 Meters
DES MOINES, Iowa - Results | Chelsea Reilly concluded her collegiate career with a ninth-place finish in the women's 5000 meters at the NCAA Championships Saturday, giving the Cal senior her highest showing ever in an individual event at a national meet.

COLORADO: Tebo Finishes Third in the 5k
DES MOINES, Iowa - University of Colorado senior Jessica Tebo recorded a third-place finish in the 5,000-meter run on Saturday afternoon at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, earning her first Division I USTFCCCA First Team All-American honor.

OREGON: Ducks' Best Score Falls Just Short at NCAAs
DES MOINES, Iowa - Bolstered by a scintillating victory in the 4x400 meter relay, the Women of Oregon scored the most points ever in an NCAA meet by a Duck squad. Unfortunately in the end, Louisiana State came up with more Saturday at the NCAA Track and Field Championships at Drake Stadium.

STANFORD: Cardinal Women Finish Sixth at NCAAs, Men 18th
DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Cardinal track and field teams completed the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Saturday with more top finishes. The Cardinal women completed an outstanding meet to place sixth, while the men ended up 16th.

UCLA: Men 17th; Women 21st at NCAA Track & Field Championships
DES MOINES, Iowa - The NCAA Track & Field Championships have come to a close and although UCLA has no athletes competing on the final day of the meet, both squads finished strong in the team competition. The men finished 17th overall, while the women tied for 21st.

WASHINGTON: Flood Wins NCAA 1,500m Title; Goethals 2nd In 5k
DES MOINES, Iowa - One of the best days in the history of Washington track and field was written by a pair of gritty distance runners today at the NCAA Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium. Sometimes in athletics the script just writes itself. Such was the case for sophomore Katie Flood, who claimed the NCAA Championship at 1,500-meters today in her hometown of Des Moines on a track where she dominated as a prep. Approximately an hour later, fellow sophomore Megan Goethals was a fraction of a second away from her own national title, as she placed second in the 5,000-meters by .03 seconds.

ARIZONA: Barrett Wins Second-Straight High Jump Title
Des Moines, Iowa - The University of Arizona Wildcat No. 3 men's and No. 10 women's track and field teams finished competition at the third day of the NCAA Track and Field Championships. The meet is hosted by Drake University at Jim Duncan Track and Johnny Bright Field.

ARIZONA STATE: Sun Devils Add Three All-Americans on Day Three
DES MOINES, Iowa - The Arizona State University men got on the scoreboard and the ASU women added another All-American as the Sun Devils finished up the third day of competition at the NCAA Track and Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.

CALIFORNIA: Esparza 21st in Hammer; Jones 24th in Triple Jump
DES MOINES, Iowa - Two Golden Bears were in action on day three of the NCAA Track & Field Championships Friday, with Scott Esparza taking 21st in the hammer and Chad Jones finishing 24th in the triple jump. The meet wraps up Saturday when Cal senior Chelsea Reilly will be out on the track in the 5000 meters.

COLORADO: Kipp Wins First NCAA Title In Steeplechase
DES MOINES, Iowa - Racing for the third time at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships proved to be the charm for University of Colorado junior Shalaya Kipp as she won the 3,000-meter steeplechase crown on Friday night.

OREGON: Can't Stop Bri!
DES MOINES, Iowa - Brianne Theisen leapt her way into heptathlon history, while English Gardner became the first women's 100 meter champion ever at Oregon as the Ducks waged a back-and-forth battle with Louisiana State Friday at the NCAA Track and Field Championships.

STANFORD: Amaechi Morton Wins NCAA Title in the 400-meter Hurdles
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Mission accomplished for Amaechi Morton. The senior ran a career-best time to win the NCAA title in the 400-meter hurdles on Friday at Drake Stadium. Morton joins Katerina Stefanidi with an individual title as she won the NCAA championship in the pole vault two nights ago.

UCLA (M): Woepse & Faldermeyer Finish 2nd & 3rd at NCAA Championships
Mike Woepse and Alec Faldermeyer capped off the Bruin men's competition at the NCAA Championships on a high note as both earned first-team All-American honors in their respective events. Woepse finished second in the pole vault, while Faldermeyer was third in the hammer.

UCLA (W): Thompson Finishes 2nd in 400m Hurdles at NCAA Championships
DES MOINES, Iowa - Turquoise Thompson might have finished second in the 400m hurdles at the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive season, but the junior All-American did so in impressive fashion as she ran the No. 16 mark in the world this year on Friday in Des Moines, Iowa.

USC: Wyatt, Muhammad & Mance Earn All-America Honors At NCAA Championships
DES MOINES, Iowa - Reggie Wyatt placed third in the men's 400m IH, Dalilah Muhammad fifth in the women's 400m IH and Josh Mance fifth in the men's 400m dash to earned first-team All-American honors during the third day of action (June 8) at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at historic Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. With one day left of competition in the championship, USC's women's team has scored 11 points and stands tied for 15th place, while the men's team has 10 points and is tied for 20th place.

UTAH: LeRoy Takes 22nd in High Jump at NCAA Championships
DES MOINES, Iowa - Senior Brianna LeRoy of the University of Utah track & field team cleared a height 5'8.75" (1.75m) to take 22nd place in the high jump finals at the NCAA Championships on Friday at Drake Stadium.

WASHINGTON: Freshman Juilfs Finishes 13th At NCAA Outdoors
DES MOINES, Iowa - Friday at the NCAA Track & Field Championships was a one-man show for Washington, as freshman J.J. Juilfs competed in his first national meet. The Pac-12 Champion cleared the first three bars, but a couple near misses kept him just out of the mix of contenders, and he wound up 13th overall.

ARIZONA: Women's 4x400 Sets UA Record Advances to Final
Des Moines, Iowa - The University of Arizona Wildcat No. 3 men's and No. 10 women's track and field teams wrapped up competition at the second day of the NCAA Track and Field Championships. The meet is hosted by Drake University at Jim Duncan Track and Johnny Bright Field. Competition will continue through June 9.

ARIZONA STATE: ASU T&F Hits Halfway Point of NCAA Championships
DES MOINES, Iowa - The Arizona State University track and field team finished up the second day of competition at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, with several student-athletes earning All-America honors on the day.

CALIFORNIA: Maier 3rd in 10,000; Steed Takes 8th in High Jump
DES MOINES, Iowa - Junior Deborah Maier took third in the 10,000 meters and redshirt-freshman Harrison Steed finished eighth in the men's high jump to give the Golden Bears a pair of All-Americans on the second day of the NCAA Track & Field Championships Thursday.

COLORADO: Van Halen Qualifies for NCAA Final
DES MOINES, Iowa - Junior Aric Van Halen qualified for the finals in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase on Thursday after finishing eighth in the second heat of the semifinals at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

OREGON: New Heptathlon Heights for Theisen at NCAA Championships
DES MOINES, Iowa - Brianne Theisen had a dazzling, record-setting first day in the heptathlon and Jordan Hasay and Becca Friday survived a grueling 1,500 meter semifinal Thursday at the NCAA Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium.

Carlyle's Outstanding OSU Career Ends at NCAAs
Des Moines, Iowa - Senior distance runner Laura Carlyle concluded her Oregon State career Thursday by finishing 22nd in the semifinals of the 1,500 meters at the NCAA Track and Field Championships at Drake Stadium.


STANFORD:
Stanford Women Lead as Day 2 Wraps from Des Moines
DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Cardinal continued with the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Thursday with day two from Drake Stadium. Karynn Dunn led the Cardinal as the women widened their lead to eight points with six of 21 events scored.


UCLA (M):
Nilsson Places 6th in Decathlon at NCAA Championships
DES MOINES, Iowa - Marcus Nilsson earned the first All-America honor of his career on Thursday evening after finishing sixth in the decathlon at the NCAA Championships in Des Moines, IA. Nilsson was ninth after day one of the 10-event competition and used two big lifetime-best performances on Thursday to finish sixth overall. His sixth-place finish marks the first time since 1987 that a Bruin has scored in the decathlon (Jim Connolly won the title that year).


UCLA (W):
 Storm & Price Earn All-American Honors at NCAA Championships
DES MOINES, Iowa - Ida Storm and Kylie Price each earned first-team All-American honors on day two of the NCAA Championships in Des Moines, IA with Storm finishing fifth in the hammer and Price placing seventh in the long jump.


USC:
 Ozorai & Minderler Earn All-America Honors In Hammer Throw
DES MOINES, Iowa - Jenny Ozorai and Marissa Minderler earned All-America honors in the women's hammer throw and Aaron Brown in the 200m and the men's 4x400m relay which had the eigth-fastest time in USC history advanced to NCAA finals during the second day of action (June 7) at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at historic Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. After two days, USC's women's team has scored seven points and stands in 15th place, while the men's team looks to begin its scoring tomorrow.


UTAH:
 Mergaert Falls Just Shy of Advancing to Finals of NCAA Championships
DES MOINES, Iowa - Junior Amanda Mergaert of the University of Utah track & field team broke her own school record to take 14th overall in the semifinals of the 1,500-meter race, but fell just two places and .15 seconds shy of qualifying for the finals, Thursday at the NCAA Championships in Drake Stadium. This was the second straight year Mergaert has taken Second-Team All-American honors with a 14th-place overall finish at the national meet in the 1,500-meter run.


WASHINGTON:
Flood Moves on to Finals on NCAA Day Two
DES MOINES, Iowa - Three rounds down, one to go for sophomore standout Katie Flood, as the Des Moines native was impressive in qualifying for the 1,500-meter final on day two of the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Returning again to the Drake Stadium track where Flood won a myriad of prep titles, she navigated another talented field to reach her first outdoor final.

Scott-Ellis Fifth in Long Jump at NCAA T&F Final Championships
DES MOINES, IOWA -- Washington State junior Stephan Scott-Ellis earned his third All-America certificate with his fifth-place finish in the men's long jump Wednesday at the NCAA Track & Field Championships at Johnny Bright Field & Jim Duncan Track in Drake Stadium on the Drake University campus in Des Moines, Iowa.

ARIZONA: Sambu Earns Runner-up Finish in 10,000 Meters
Des Moines, Iowa - The University of Arizona Wildcat No. 3 men's and No. 10 women's track and field teams began the first day of competition in the NCAA Track and Field Championships. The meet is hosted by Drake University at Jim Duncan Track and Johnny Bright Field. Competition will continue through June 9.

ARIZONA STATE: Sun Devils Conclude First Day at NCAA T&F Championships
DES MOINES, Iowa - Anna Jelmini took second place in the women's discus and the Arizona State University track and field team finished up the first day of competition at the 2012 NCAA Championships on Wednesday in Des Moines, Iowa.

COLORADO: Kipp Advances to NCAA Steeplechase Finals
DES MOINES, Iowa - University of Colorado junior Shalaya Kipp easily advanced to the finals in the 3,000-meter steeplechase after winning the first semifinal at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Jim Duncan Track on Wednesday.

OREGON: Thompson Leads Nearly Perfect Day at NCAAs
DES MOINES, Iowa - Lanie Thompson set the school record in the women's 3,000 meter steeplechase and Luke Puskedra was fourth in the 10,000 meters to highlight a nearly perfect first day of the NCAA Track & Field Championships in front of 4,052 fans Wednesday at Drake Stadium.

STANFORD: Stefanidi Captures NCAA Title in the Pole Vault
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Two of Stanford's most decorated track and field athletes finished their collegiate careers on Wednesday and it was Katerina Stefanidi who came through with the NCAA title. The other, Chris Derrick, battled hard in the 10,000 meters, but had to settle for third.

UCLA (M): Nilsson Has Strong Opening Day in the Decathlon at NCAAs
DES MOINES, Iowa - Marcus Nilsson had a career day on day one of the decathlon at the NCAA Championships in Des Moines, IA, while Matthew Kosecki and the 4x100m relay team earned second-team All-American honors in their respective events.

UCLA (W): Thompson Advances to 400m Hurdles Finals at NCAAs
DES MOINES, Iowa - Turquoise Thompson advanced to her second consecutive NCAA final in the 400m hurdles after advancing out of the semifinal rounds on the opening day of the NCAA Championships in Des Moines, IA on Wednesday. Thompson was running out of lane six in heat one and won her heat to automatically advance to the finals.

USC: Busa Places 8th at the NCAA Championships
DES MOINES, Iowa - Kristine Busa placed eighth in the women's javelin throw and three individual athletes and the women's 4x100m relay team advanced to NCAA finals during the first day of action (June 6) at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at historic Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.

WASHINGTON: Miller Vaults to Fourth on Day One of NCAAs
DES MOINES, Iowa - One year ago, Logan Miller was a surprise qualifier for the NCAA Championships, and her 11th-place finish was a great effort for her nationals debut. Fast forward to today, and the junior from Reno, Nev. had bigger goals in mind. Miller cleared 14-3 ¼ in the pole vault today to place fourth at Drake Stadium, leading the Huskies on day one of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

WASHINGTON STATE: Scott-Ellis Fifth in Long Jump at NCAA T&F Final Championships
