The Week Ahead
Another full state of football games and a major showdown in men's soccer highlights the Pac-12 Networks schedule this week.
The week of live events kicks off Wednesday when the Chinese volleyball club team Jiangsu continues its West Coast tour with a visit to 8th-ranked Stanford. Jiangsu will make the hour drive to play Cal the following night, which is also on the networks. Both matches begin at 7 p.m.
The Pac-12 Networks will air six football games on Saturday. Oregon will put its No. 4 national ranking on the line against Fresno State at Autzen Stadium. The Ducks began the season with a 57-34 shellacking of Arkansas State. Stanford, which narrowly defeated San Jose State on Saturday, will play host to Duke. And Arizona State will get a huge test when No. 18 Oklahoma State pays a visit to Tucson. The Cowboys hammered Savannah State 84-0 in its opener. Arizona got by Toledo 24-17 in overtime in its opener.
On Sunday, the 11th-ranked UCLA men's soccer team plays host to No. 12 UC Irvine. The Bruins played No. 6 Maryland to a 2-2 tie on the road Friday night then notched their first win of the season Sunday at Virginia. The Anteaters bring a 3-0 record into this week.
Other Pac-12 teams in action on the networks this week include Stanford field hockey and two top-5 women's soccer programs. No. 2 UCLA hosts Loyola Marymount and No. 4 Stanford entertains Boston University. The Cardinal play on the national network while the Bruins can be seen on Pac-12 Los Angeles. Both matches begin at 7 p.m.
