UCLA's Estrada named Pac-12 player of the week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Pac-12 Conference office announced UCLA junior forward Max Estrada as the Pac-12 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 3- Sept. 9.
Estrada, a native of Salinas, Calif., scored a pair of game-winning goals over the weekend for the Bruins. On Friday against Tulsa Estrada played just 29 minutes, but scored the only goal of the game off a header in the 44th minute. This was Estrada's first UCLA goal. UCLA faced then-No. 11 UC Irvine on Saturday, winning with a score of 2-1. Estrada scored the game-winning goal with just three minutes left to play in the game. Estrada is now tied to lead the team in goals for the season.
This is Estrada's first-career weekly honor and UCLA's 48th all-time player of the week, the most in the Conference.
The Bruins will be featured on the Pac-12 Networks 11 times this season, with a total of 28 live Pac-12 men's soccer games aired on the Networks.
