Stanford's Jahn named Pac-12 player of the week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Conference announced STANFORD senior forward Adam Jahn as the Pac-12 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 22-28.
Jahn, a native of El Macero, Calif., scored the lone goal in the 1-0 overtime win at then-No. 25 UC Santa Barbara. He scored in the 96th minute off a header to give the Cardinal the 1-0 victory. Jahn is on a scoring streak with four goals in Stanford's past five matches and leads the team with nine goals on the season. This is the second Stanford road win this season over a ranked team.
Jahn leads the Pac-12 this season in shots with 50, and is second in points (20) and goals (10). He also is the Pac-12 active career leader in shots (167), points (48) and goals (19).
It is Jahn's second-career player of the week honor after earning player of the week last season for the week of Sept. 27. It is Stanford's 15th all-time player of the week honor and their second this season.
The Cardinal travels to No. 5 UCLA on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m., the game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks. Stanford then heads to SAN DIEGO STATE on Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. Stanford's matches were broadcasted seven of the unprecedented 28 live Pac-12 men's soccer contests on the Networks this season.
