Four Pac-12 teams headed to NCAA regional tournament
By the Pac-12 Conference
For the ninth time since 2001, four Pac-12 teams are headed to the NCAA Tournament regional semifinals. Four of the five league teams that were seeded remain alive in the tournament, with STANFORD leading the way as the highest-seeded Pac-12 team in the tournament. The Cardinal takes the short trip to Berkeley for its regional matchup. #5 OREGON and #13 WASHINGTON are both headed to Omaha where the Huskies will have to get through the home team, #4 Nebraska. Sixth-seeded USC was the only Pac-12 team placed in the Austin Regional. The Trojans have made back-to-back appearances in the national semifinals and look to keep that streak alive. So far in the tournament this year, Pac-12 teams have posted a 9-3 record (.750).
The NCAA Tournament Regional semifinals will be streamed live on ESPN3.com. Direct links to the streaming can be found at www.ncaa.com. All of the regional final matchups will be televised live on ESPNU.
