Colorado hires SJSU's MacIntyre to be next head coach

Colorado has announced the hiring of former San Jose State head coach Mike MacIntyre to replace Jon Embree as CU's next head football coach.

From the school's press release:

"MacIntyre will be the 25th full-time head football coach in CU history, as he comes to Colorado from San Jose State, where he coached the Spartans to their first 10-win season in 25 years and a No. 24 final regular season ranking in both major polls (Associated Press, USA Today/ESPN) and in the final BCS Standings.  He has agreed to a 5-year contract to coach the Buffaloes."
