Video: ASU running back Marion Grice receives game ball
Arizona State captured its eighth win in impressive fashion on Saturday afternoon by beating Navy 62-28 in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. The best story to come out of the game was undoubtedly running back Marion Grice’s big day. The junior college transfer had 155 yards on 13 carries for two touchdowns little more than a week after he flew home to Texas to be with his family after his brother was killed in an attempted robbery.
The uplifting story undoubtedly brought a tear to the eyes of just about everybody who knew about it. After the game, head coach Todd Graham presented Grice with the game ball in an emotional postgame scene in the locker room.
