Pair of top-20 matchups tips off Pac-12 play
By the Pac-12 Conference
Preseason non-conference tune-up games wrapped up on Monday and teams begin the New Year by tipping off the Pac-12 slate on this weekend. Four Conference clashes will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks, including a pair of top-20 matchups featuring No. 20/25 COLORADO, one of just four undefeated teams remaining in the nation.
The Pac-12 has four teams ranked in both national polls this week with STANFORD pacing the league teams at No. 4 in the Associated Press poll and No. 3 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll. CALIFORNIA is ranked No. 7 in both polls, followed by UCLA at No. 16/17 and then the Buffs, who enter the coaches ranking for the first time this week.
Highlighting the Pac-12 schedule this week is a showdown between #4/3 Stanford and #20/25 Colorado in Boulder on Friday on the Pac-12 Networks. On Sunday, the Buffs host #7/7 Cal on the league's Networks. Check local listings for channels.
