WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Pac-12 Conference office announced today the Pac-12 women's gymnastics weekly honors for the week of Jan. 14-20. UTAH's Georgia Dabritz was named the Gymnast of the Week, teammate Tory Wilson was voted Specialist of the Week, and ARIZONA's Shelby Edwards was selected as the Freshman/Newcomer of the week.

Dabritz, a Newburyport, Mass., native, won the all-around and three event titles to lead Utah to a victory over OREGON STATE, West Virginia and Southern Utah. Dabritz tallied two career highs in both the all-around (39.525) and bars (9.90), where she placed first. The sophomore also scored a 9.90 on beam for first and tied for first on floor with a 9.875. On vault she earned a 9.85 which was good for fourth place.

Sophomore All-American Wilson earned her second straight vault title with a 9.95, a career-tying score. In addition to her vault performance, she earned a 9.875 on beam to tie for second. It was just Wilson's second career beam routine. The Utes tallied a 196.95 team score in the win over then-No. 23 Oregon State (195.95), then-No. 22 West Virginia (192.125) and then-No. 20 Southern Utah (191.050).

Wildcat freshman Shelby Edwards has battled adversity to enter the beam lineup for Arizona. Edwards injured her arm several weeks ago, but managed to find a way to make an impact on the team. She began training a no-arm beam set and was cleared by team doctors to compete. The freshman earned a 9.750 in her no-arm beam set and contributed to a season high 49.00 team total on the event. The Wildcats totaled a 195.800 overall to beat then-No. 25 BYU (193.950), Texas Woman's University (191.475) and Wisconsin-Whitewater (185.900) in the meet.

This is Dabritz's first Gymnast of the Week honor and Utah's second all-time and first this season. It is Wilson's first Specialist of the Week honor and Utah's first all-time. It is Edwards' first Freshman/Newcomer of the week honor.

Gymnast of the Week has been selected every week of the season since 2001. The Specialist of the Week award was added in 2008. It is the first year for Freshman/Newcomer of the Week.

The Utes and the Wildcats face off this week when Utah travels to Arizona on Friday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. MT.
