Softball TV schedule released; Finch, Mendoza join Pac-12 Networks team

Jan 30, 2013

Spring is right around the corner, and with that comes Pac-12 softball. The conference is loaded year in and year out, owning six of the last seven NCAA titles and 24 national championships in the sport's 31-season history. Unreal, right? Now you get to watch the league's powerhouse programs on the Pac-12 Networks, with 34 live games hitting our air this season - starting with a double-header on March 23. Calling some of those 34 games will be former Pac-12 and Olympic softball stars Jennie Finch and Jessica Mendoza, who have joined the Pac-12 Networks talent lineup as analysts. Finch was an NCAA champion, a two-time Pac-10 Pitcher of the Year and a three-time first-team All-American as an Arizona Wildcat (1999-2002). Mendoza earned both first-team All-Pac-10 and first-team All-America in all four years as a Stanford outfielder (1999-2002). Both went on to win Olympic gold for Team USA in 2004 and silver in 2008, and since then have made names for themselves in sports broadcasting. Bunch of slackers on our hands here.
