Stanford freshman sets NCAA record at Peg Barnard Invitational

Last Sunday, Stanford golfer Mariah Stackhouse shot 10-under-par 61 at the Peg Barnard Invitational, setting a Stanford Golf Course and NCAA women's record in the process. She also recorded a nine-under on the front nine to post a course-record 26 to jump-start winning performances for Stackhouse and the Cardinal.

The scary thing? This girl's a freshman. Have fun with that, Pac-12 golfers.

Stackhouse spoke with Pac-12 Networks about what she called "the best tournament of [her] life" and the team's mentality for the spring season.
