Steding key to Cal's success

The Cal women's basketball team has enjoyed a steady presence in the top 10 of the polls this season with a 23-2 overall record and 12 straight victories. A relatively unheralded key to this season's success has been first-year assistant coach Katy Steding. Steding, who was a member of Stanford's 1990 NCAA championship team and a 1996 gold medalist for team USA, has brought a wealth of experience and a "been-there-done-that" attitude to the bench in Berkeley. And, as you can see here, she has the bling to back it up.
