OSU holds 4-3 lead with outstanding double play

Oregon State managed to hold on for a tense 4-3 win over the Sun Devils in Sunday's rubber match of the three-game weekend series. One of the most significant reasons they earned the victory was an inning-ending double play in the top of the fifth inning. {C}{C}

Trailing by a run with the bases loaded and just one out, Arizona State's Jake Peevyhouse lifted a medium-deep flyball to right field. The Beavers' Dylan Davis circled under it and fired a one-hop throw to catcher Jake Rodriguez. The junior managed to hold onto the ball as he was nearly simultaneously hit by the Sun Devils' Rouric Bridgewater.
