With a heavy load of Pac-12 games this week fans will have no shortage of action as series are being played Tuesday-Wednesday and Saturday-Sunday this week. Pac-12 softball will be featured on the networks six times this week with the No. 5 CALIFORNIA at No. 19 ARIZONA double-headers on Tuesday, April 2 as well as the matchup on Wednesday, April 3. The three game series of No. 2 ARIZONA STATE at No. 14 STANFORD will be shown on the Pac-12 Networks for the double header on Saturday. On Sunday, fans can watch No. 24 OREGON STATE face No. 17 WASHINGTON.

The 2013 NPF senior draft was held on April 1 at the Ford Theatre located inside the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee. Three Pac-12 seniors were drafted with Golden Bear Jolene Henderson being chosen by the Chicago Bandits in the first round with the No. 3 pick. Oregon's Jessica Moore went in the second round to the New York/New Jersey Comets. Brigette Del Ponte from Arizona went to the Akron Racers with the 17th overall pick.

This Week in Pac-12 Softball

• NPF SENIOR DRAFT: Three current Pac-12 players were drafted in the 2013 NPF Senior Draft on April 1. CALIFORNIA's Jolene Henderson went in the first round with the number three pick to the Chicago Bandits. OREGON's Jessica Moore was chosen by the New York/New Jersey Comets in the second round with the sixth overall pick. Lastly, ARIZONA's Brigette Del Ponte went to the Akron Racers with the 17th overall pick in the fifth round. These athletes will not be eligible to sign with their respective franchise until their 2013 season is complete due to NCAA regulations.

• HOME RUN RALLIES: The Sun Devils are on a current nine-game home run streak, earning at least one homer in every game dating back to March 15. The team has hit the long ball in 31 of 37 games this year and 19 of those games have had multiple.

• FIRST WIN IN UTE STADIUM: The Utes claimed their first-ever victory in the new Utah Softball Stadium with a 8-4 win over then-No. 17 Arizona. The win for Utah snapped a 10-game losing streak and was their first victory over a ranked opponent this season.

• NO SWEEP HERE: The Huskies stopped Oregon from claiming a sweep on the weekend as Washington handed the Ducks their first Pac-12 loss of the season with a tight 2-1 victory.

• BROOM TIME: The ARIZONA STATE Sun Devils earned the first Pac-12 sweep of the season in the three game win over OREGON STATE last weekend. They closed the weekend with an impressive 11-0 win which included five home runs.

• USA SOFTBALL JUNIOR WOMENS NATIONAL TEAM: The Pac-12 is heavily represented on the USA Softball Junior Women's National team OREGON STATE head coach Laura Berg is an assistant for the team while Cherdina Hawkins (ORE), Danica Mercado (ORE), Jessica Plaza (STAN), Lauren Young (ARIZ), Paige McDuffee (UCLA), Mysha Sataraka (UCLA) were all named to the team. Nancy Bowling (ARIZ) was named as one of the three alternates.
