The Pac-12 volleyball all-star team arrived in Shanghai Monday morning local time, immediately diving into sightseeing after 17 hours in the air. The squad visited the Bund and the Yu Garden (downtown Old Shanghai) -- the area's most popular spots -- and went on a bus tour around the Lujiazui New Area to see some of the tallest buildings in the world. Among the skyscrapers were the Shanghai World Financial Center (China's tallest building and the world's fourth-tallest) and the under-construction Shanghai Tower (what will be the highest building in China and the world's second-tallest). The group then took a high-speed train to Nanjing followed by a three-hour bus trip to Huaian, where the team will stay for five days.
