Pac-12 Now app available on Android devices

Pac-12 Networks' content is entering a new frontier: Android phones and tablets.

It's with great excitement that we're announcing the release of the Pac-12 Now app in the Google Play store. This allows Android users access to live events on all seven networks and other programming across all sports. Streaming live game broadcasts or catching up on your favorite team through video features and video on demand has never been easier or more accessible.

Customers who get a Pac-12 channel as part of their package from their cable or satellite TV provider can access live and on-demand video via the Pac-12 Now app. Providers that currently support Pac-12 Now include DISH, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Bright House Networks, and more. Here is a complete list of TV providers that support Pac-12 Now. Unfortunately, Comcast/Xfinity customers are not allowed to log in and watch live content on mobile devices.

Pac-12 Now also requires a one-time download of Hook, a free application that enables you to play video content on your phone or tablet. If you do not have it already installed on your device, Pac-12 Now will prompt you to download Hook from Google play.

This is just the launching point for Pac-12 Now on Android devices. Stay tuned for updates to various features and the appearance of the app in the coming weeks and months.
