WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - All but one of the 12 Conference teams hit the road for tournament action, as the Pac-12 volleyball season continues its non-conference schedule. Only CALIFORNIA remains on their home court as the other squads are spread across the nation, with ARIZONA traveling to Hawai’i for the Hawai’i Tournament and STANFORD representing on the east coast as they compete in Washington, D.C. in the Pentagon Tournament...Six Pac-12 teams remain undefeated, with UTAH and WASHINGTON STATE holding a 7-0 record. ARIZONA STATE and USC are 6-0, and CALIFORNIA and WASHINGTON are 5-0 and 4-0, respectively...Six Conference teams were ranked in this week’s AVCA top-25 poll. California broke into the rankings, placing 23rd after a weekend that saw three-consecutive sweeps, including a straight-set victory over then-ranked No. 19 Creighton. USC moved up to the No. 1 spot in the rankings, followed by Washington at sixth, Stanford at 8th, UCLA at 11th, and OREGON at 20th...The week features contests against six ranked teams for the league. Arizona State will face No. 2 Texas in the Illini Classic, their highest-ranked opponent so far this season...Arizona State’s Macey Gardner, Washington’s Jenna Orlandini and Washington State’s Kyra Holt all earned Pac-12 Player of the Week honors. Gardner was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Orlandini took home Defensive Player of the Week honors and Holt was tabbed for Freshman of the Week.
