No. 5 Cal Ties Penn State, 1-1, in 2 OTs

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Fifth-ranked California suffered its first blemish of the season on Friday the 13th when it tied Penn State, 1-1, in double overtime at Jeffrey Field. Cal’s record now stands at 3-0-1 after the first match between the two programs, while the Nittany Lions moved to 2-2-1 after the nonconference match.

Anderson’s Golden Goal Sends Beavers Past Redhawks

CORVALLIS, Ore. –  Junior defender Brenden Anderson scored a header in the closing seconds of overtime to lift the Oregon State men’s soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Seattle University Friday evening at Paul Lorenz Field.

Junior midfielder Leo Stolz scored the first goal of his UCLA career in the 49th minute and that would be all that the UCLA men’s soccer team would need to defeat Southern California rivals UC Santa Barbara, 1-0, in front of a crowd of 2,094 at Drake Stadium.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — No. 10 Washington stayed unbeaten on the season, defeating No. 25 Brown, 1-0. The Dawgs improved to 4-0-1, completing an East Coast road trip with a win and a tie against a pair of ranked opponents.
