Colorado football stays busy helping displaced flooding victims

Despite having their home game against Fresno State postponed, the Colorado Buffaloes football team stayed busy on Saturday afternoon.

The Buffs served meals to displaced victims of the horrific floods in the Boulder area, hosting an estimated 800 people at Folsom Field facilities while also spending time to get to know some of the victims and their families. The event showed the true meaning of community, as not only are many residents of Boulder persevering through the floods, but so are some of the Buffs players, as eight have currently been displaced from their own apartments over the last three days.

Colorado will not play again until September 28th, as they have a scheduled bye next week beforetraveling to Oregon State. Their next home game is not until October 4th against Oregon.
