No. 2 UCLA Defeats No. 18 Redlands, 19-2

REDLANDS, Calif. — The No. 2 UCLA men's water polo team improved to 5-0 on the season with a 19-2 win over No. 18 Redlands today at the Inland Empire Classic. Junior Paul Reynolds, sophomore Anthony Daboub and redshirt freshman Alec Zwaneveld each scored hat tricks in the victory. It was Daboub's first game of the season after missing the first four due to injury.

Bruins Beat Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 20-3

REDLANDS, Calif. — The No. 2 UCLA men's water polo team improved to 6-0 on the season with a 20-3 win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps today at the Inland Empire Classic. Junior Daniel Lenhart and freshman Ryder Roberts each scored hat tricks for the Bruins. A total of 13 different players scored for UCLA.

No. 2 UCLA Trounces Whittier, 27-2

REDLANDS, Calif. — The No. 2 UCLA men's water polo team improved to 7-0 on the season with a 27-2 win over Whittier this afternoon in the Bruins' final game of the Inland Empire Classic. Sophomore Danny McClintick led UCLA with a season-high four goals. A total of 13 different players scored for UCLA, including eight players with multiple scores.

Two More For The Top-Ranked Trojans

CLAREMONT, CALIF. — The No. 1 USC men's water polo team beat its first top-10 team of 2013 and grabbed another dominating victory to add to the Trojans' growing win streak. Victories over No. 10 UC San Diego and Pomona-PItzer helped the Trojans pass up their longest recent win streak of 35 in a row (2008-09) in making this current streak a solid 36 straight. USC's program record win streak stands at 44 in a row (2005-06). The 2013 Trojans are now 6-0 overall with two more matches coming up tomorrow at the Inland Empire Classic.
