Spokane, Wash. – The Oregon State Women’s Soccer Team lost a close battle to Gonzaga 1-0, Sunday afternoon.
STANFORD, Calif. – The early stages of Stanford’s women’s season have been an evolution of sorts, with each match provided the opportunity for the team to take an extra step. In Stanford’s 3-1 nonconference victory over Iowa State on Sunday, the signs of that progression – scoring chances -- were everywhere. Lots of them.
LOS ANGELES, CALIF. — The No. 23 USC women's soccer team scored three goals on three shots in the first 10 minutes of action today en route to a 5-1 win over visiting Loyola Marymount at McAlister Field. USC sophomore Katie Johnson had a hat trick by halftime, making her the first Trojan to hit a hat trick since teammate Elizabeth Eddy did so in 2010. USC's 5-1 win also marked the most goals scored by the Women of Troy in a single game since that same 2010 season. Today's victory snaps a two-game slump and ups the Trojans' overall record to 4-2-1.
SALT LAKE CITY — Utah soccer got a pair of goals in both halves en route to a 4-0 victory over Weber State this afternoon. Allie Wisner, Katie Taylor, Ashton Hall and Avery Ford were able to get their marks on the scoresheet for the Utes.
STILLWATER, Okla. – Senior Micaela Castain tallied two first half goals and Washington State earned a 2-2 draw at Oklahoma State in nonconference women’s soccer, Sunday.
