Storm Woods elaborates on Brandin Cooks' toenail painting superstition
Oregon State wide receiver Brandin Cooks has an unusual pre-game ritual: he paints his toe nails the colors of the Beavers' opponent every week.
While it sounds bizarre, Cooks has described it as symbolizing stepping all over the opponent. But what does teammate Storm Woods think about it? Check out the video below to find out:
Also, we'd be remissed if we didn't acknowledge that, yes, Woods told the story via phone during the game's broadcast, as he is home in Texas recovering from a concussion suffered last weekend against Utah. Despite no definitive timetable set for his return to the field, Woods' spirits sound high -- so much so that he's happy to poke fun at a teammate and close friend.
