Bears Win Two At Aggie Shootout

DAVIS – Senior Colin Smith scored nine total goals while sophomores Colin Mulcahy and Thomas Argamonte each scored five as the No. 4 Cal men’s water polo team won a pair of games at the Aggie Shootout on Saturday. Smith scored two goals in the first period during a 14-4 victory over No. 13 UC Davis. The Bears (8-2) led 4-0 after the first period and rolled to the win.

No. 1 UCLA Posts 17-4 Win at No. 8 Loyola Marymount

LOS ANGELES — The No. 1 UCLA men's water polo team improved to 13-0 on the season with a 17-4 win at No. 8 Loyola Marymount (5-6) this afternoon at Burns Recreation and Aquatics Center. Freshman Lovre Milos and senior Chris Wendt each scored hat tricks for UCLA as 10 different Bruins scored.

No. 1 UCLA Defeats No. 11 Princeton, 15-3

LOS ANGELES — The No. 1 UCLA men's water polo team improved to 14-0 on the season with a 15-3 win over No. 11 Princeton (8-3) this evening at Spieker Aquatics Center. Freshman Lovre Milos and senior Lucas Reynolds each scored hat tricks for UCLA as nine different Bruins scored.

No. 2 Trojans Go Big In Victorious Home Openers

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. — In a day that saw 13 different Trojans hit the back of the net, it was the defense that stole the show for the No. 2 USC men's water polo team today in its home openers. In fact, it was a knack for steals that helped USC rack up goals as the Trojans piled up a 22-4 win over Princeton and then a 23-2 win over Whittier in a busy morning at Uytengsu Aquatics Center. USC improves to 12-1 overall with today's two wins.
