Wildcats Return Home to Upset No. 21 Oregon, 3-1

TUCSON, Ariz. – Three players recorded double-doubles and Arizona (11-4, 1-2 Pac-12) opened the home portion of the Pac-12 schedule with an impressive 3-1 (25-22, 25-23, 20-25, 25-22) upset over No. 21 Oregon (8-5, 1-2 Pac-12) on Friday night inside McKale Center.

No. 15 Arizona State Defeats Beavers In 3 Sets

TEMPE, Ariz. —The No. 15 ranked Arizona State volleyball team swept the Oregon State Beavers in a quick three sets (25-19, 25-8, 25-14) on Friday night at Wells Fargo Arena. The sweep is the 13th of the season for the Sun Devil squad, which improves the Devil’s overall record to 13-2, with a conference record of 2-1.

Bears Record First-Ever Sweep At Pauley Pavilion

LOS ANGELES – Cal’s women’s volleyball team put its mental toughness on display Friday night. As a result, the Bears did something they’ve never done in the program’s history. Junior opposite hitter Christina Higgins tied a career-high with 18 kills and Cal registered its first-ever sweep at Pauley Pavilion with a 28-26, 31-29, 25-14 victory over No. 16 UCLA.

Buffs Hand No. 1 Washington First Loss Of Season

BOULDER — The University of Colorado volleyball team shocked the top-ranked Washington Huskies on Friday night by handing them their first loss of the 2013 season, winning 3-1 (25-17, 26-24, 15-25, 25-19) at the Coors Events Center.  

No. 2 USC Snaps Stanford Streak With 3-0 Sweep of Cardinal

LOS ANGELES — Four Trojans scored in double digits as the second-ranked USC women's volleyball team (13-1, 3-0 Pac-12) upended No. 7 Stanford (10-3, 3-1) in three sets (25-21, 25-15, 27-25) at Galen Center on Friday, Oct. 4. The Women of Troy outpaced the Cardinal attack, .358 to .245, and posted seven blocks to come up with their seventh straight victory.

Utah Volleyball Picks Up 3-2 Win Over Washington State

SALT LAKE CITY — Senior middle blocker Erin Redd-Brandon registered a season-high 16 kills on a .467 hitting percentage to go with four blocks as the University of Utah volleyball team edged Washington State (25-17, 25-14, 20-25, 24-26, 15-8) in a Pac-12 Conference match on Friday in the Huntsman Center.
