Stanford Shuts Down Utah

STANFORD, Calif. – The eighth-ranked Stanford women’s volleyball swept Utah, 25-17, 25-18, 25-18, Friday, at Maples Pavilion in Stanford, Calif. The Cardinal moves to 11-3 on the season and 4-1 in the Pac-12, while the Utes move to13-4 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

No. 1 Trojans Trounce Beavers in Straight Sets for Ninth Straight Win

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Behind 16.0 points from sophomore outside hitter Samantha Bricio, the top-ranked USC women’s volleyball team (15-1, 5-0 Pac-12) took out Oregon State (9-7, 0-5) in three sets (25-11, 25-15, 25-15) at Gill Coliseum on Friday, Oct. 11. The Women of Troy won their season-high ninth straight match and are off to their best start since the 2006 squad went 17-1 to open the season.

Huskies Reward Big Crowd By Stopping ‘Cats

SEATTLE – In front of a season-high 4,589 fans on “Black Out” night, the sixth-ranked Husky volleyball team earned a hard-fought four set win over Arizona tonight. In their Pac-12 home opener, the Huskies (12-1, 4-1 Pac-12) used a nice night from their outside hitters and also served up 10 aces en route to a 25-10, 25-20, 21-25, 25-20 victory.

WSU Volleyball Knocks Off No. 16 Arizona State in Five

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State volleyball team (2-3 Pac-12, 15-3 overall) knocked off No. 16 Arizona State (2-3 Pac-12, 13-4 overall) Friday night before 1,100 fans in Bohler Gym at the start of Dads’ Weekend in Pullman.
