Pac-12 men’s soccer scores for Sunday, Oct. 13
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Stanford men’s soccer ended its weekend in Southern California with a point Sunday, playing San Diego State to a wild 3-3 draw. The Cardinal (6-3-2, 1-2-1 Pac-12, four points) held leads of 2-0 and 3-2 in the match but the Aztecs (3-6-1, 0-2-1 Pac-12) were able to equalize each time, the final goal coming in the 84th minute. After regulation ended at 3-3, the teams played 20 minutes of scoreless extra time.
Third-ranked Washington proved its worth when the Golden Bears and Huskies tied, 1-1, after two overtimes on Oct. 6 in Berkeley. Including that game, Cal had never trailed in a match in 2013 – until the Bears played at San Diego State on Oct. 10. Down 1-0, the Bears rallied to score two late and capture a 2-1 victory.
