Mercik’s Golden Goal Downs Stanford, 1-0 in Overtime
STANFORD, Calif. – A golden goal by senior Rachel Mercik (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) gave the Golden Bears their first win over No. 10/9 Cardinal in six years, as the California women’s soccer team downed Stanford 1-0 at Cagan Stadium in Stanford.
