Cindric Signs With GymCats

Gymnastics Head Coach Bill Ryden announced that Madison Cindric has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the U of A.

TUCSON, Ariz. University of Arizona Women’s Gymnastics coach Bill Ryden announced today that  Lantana, Texas,native Madison Cindric has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the school as a student-athlete. Cindric is expected to enroll for the start of the 2014-2015 academic year.

 

She competed in the 2013 Junior Olympics and finished in third place in the all-around, fourth place on  floor exercise,and fifth place on balance beam and uneven bars. She is a current member of the Junior  Olympic National Team. Cindric also has had success in the state competitions, earning fourth place all around in the 2012 state championships and fifth place all around in the 2013 state championships where she earned first in uneven bars and balance beam. In 2011 Cindric earned fifth place in the  Regional competition and  earned fourth all-around in  the state tournament. In 2009 she qualified to the Junior Pre- Elite team and in 2008 she qualified for the Hopes Pre-Elite team.

 

“She’s such a quality recruit,” said Ryden, “She comes from Texas Dreams, which is a very substantial  club, so she has a great gymnastics background. I am very excited because she is going to instantly  walk in and provide scoring, depth and quality high-level gymnastics that will really help us. I think that  she will actually be a challenger to compete on everyevent when she arrives.”
