No. 5 Cal Dominates No. 9 UC Irvine, 17-4

BERKELEY – On its Senior Day, the Cal men’s water polo team produced a dominating performance, defeating No. 9-ranked UC Irvine, 17-4, Sunday (Nov. 17) at Spieker Aquatics Complex in the final home match of the 2013 season. Kirk Everist’s squad was led by sophomore Colin Mulcahy’s four goals, while seniors Collin Smith, Hunter Gettelfinger and Giacomo Cupido tallied three goals apiece. 

UCLA Defeats UCSB 10-7 on Senior Day

LOS ANGELES — The No. 3 UCLA men's water polo team posted a 10-7 win on "Senior Day" over No. 6 UC Santa Barbara on Sunday afternoon. The Bruins improved to 26-2 overall and 6-1 in the MPSF and moved into a three-way tie for first (with Stanford and Pacific). The Gauchos dropped to 16-9 overall and 3-5 in the league.

No. 2 Trojans Cap Home Stand With 10-8 Win Over Long Beach State

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. — The No. 2 USC men's water polo team found a third-quarter surge to break out of a tight first half against visiting No. 8 Long Beach State and pull off a 10-8 win in the Trojans' final home game of the year. USC improves to 23-3 overall and 5-2 in MPSF play with the victory.
