Volleyball’s Francis Highlight’s Pac-12 All-Academic Team Selections
TEMPE, Ariz.—Arizona State volleyball’s senior Caitlyn Francis was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team, Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott announced on Wednesday.
Junior Shannan McCready was named to the All-Academic Second Team while sophomores Whitney Follette and Macey Gardner picked up honorable mention nods.
This is Francis’ second time on the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team, and her third overall, as she was named to the second team a season ago.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
The Sun Devils wrap up the regular season this week, hosting California at Wells Fargo Arena on Wednesday at 2 p.m. MT before traveling to Tucson for a match with Pac-12 rival Arizona on Friday at 5 p.m. MT. Friday’s match will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
