TUCSON, Ariz. – Playing in her final regular season home match, senior Candace Nicholson recorded a career-high 36 digs to lift Arizona (20-12, 10-10 Pac-12) to a 3-1 (25-22, 16-25, 25-23, 25-21) victory over in-state rival Arizona State (19-13, 8-12 Pac-12) on Friday inside McKale Center.

Beavers Edged In Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. – Lila Toner led Oregon State with 11 kills as the Oregon State volleyball team closed out their 2013 season with a four-loss to Oregon Friday night at Matt Knight Arena.

Stanford Claims Big Spike

STANFORD, Calif. – Four Cardinal players registered double-digit kills as the third-ranked Stanford women’s volleyball team defeat rival California, 25-16, 22-25, 25-17, 25-21, Friday, on Senior Night at Maples Pavilion in Stanford, Calif. The Cardinal finishes the regular season 24-5 overall and in second place in the Pac-12 with a 17-3 record. Cal drops to 17-12 and ends Pac-12 play 10-10.

LOS ANGELES — The seventh-ranked Women of Troy (26-5, 16-4 Pac-12) honored seniors Natalie Hagglund, Alexis Olgard and Sara Shaw before their final regular-season match and topped off the celebration with a 3-0 sweep (26-24, 25-14, 25-21) of Colorado (17-13, 9-11) at the Galen Center on Friday, Nov. 29.

Utah Volleyball Closes Regular Season with Win over UCLA

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — University of Utah volleyball maintained a .359- .230 hitting advantage and 11.5-4.0 blocking edge over UCLA as the Utes rallied back from a first-set loss to top the Bruins in four (19-25, 25-16, 25-22, 25-23) Friday at Pauley Pavilion.

Washington Claims A Third Pac-12 Championship

SEATTLE – For the third time in program history, the Washington Huskies are the champions of the Pac-12 conference, and UW did not feel like sharing. A sweep of rival Washington State was the perfect way to cap an incredible 26-2 regular season, with an 18-2 mark in conference play, as the Huskies finished one game ahead of last year’s champion Stanford.
