UCLA Defeats UNC 1-0 in Double OT to Advance to College Cup

The UCLA women’s soccer team won the Pac-12 championship, went undefeated in conference play and finished the regular season with a single loss — to North Carolina. On Saturday, in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals, the Bruins returned the favor. In the second overtime, in the 102nd minute, Taylor Smith scored a goal on a breakaway to send UCLA (21-1-2) to the NCAA College Cup with a 1-0 triumph.
