Pac-12 Conference performs 'extreme makeover' on technology center
PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The Pac-12 Football Championship week kicked off on Thursday with the unveiling of the Pac-12 Technology Center at ASU Preparatory Academy in Phoenix.
When the Pac-12 Conference expanded from 10 to 12 years three years ago and created a Football Championship Game, the Conference made a commitment to give back to the host community each year with a legacy project. And so began the tradition of the Pac-12 Technology Center gift and extreme makeover of an existing center that serves the community's youth.
On Thursday, the Pac-12 staff was joined by ASU Athletics, ASU student-athletes and volunteers to transform ASU Prep's library into an engaging technology center equipped with new computers and tablets, digital cameras, TVs, and education gaming systems.
