Radio Show Returns

STANFORD, Calif. – The fifth and final “Inside Stanford Sports with David Shaw” radio show will take place Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. (PT) from Gordon Biersch in Palo Alto. The show’s host and play-by-play announcer, Scott Reiss, will recap Stanford’s Pac-12 Football Championship Game victory over Arizona State as well as its upcoming appearance in the 100th Rose Bowl Game against Michigan State.
The players scheduled for Dec 9. are Ed Reynolds, A.J. Tarpley and Anthony Wilkerson.
Attendees will have the chance to win game tickets, Stanford merchandise and other great prizes. Gordon Biersch will also have food and drink specials.
For those unable to attend in person, the show will be aired on tape-delayed broadcast Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. on KNBR 1050 AM.
All “Inside Stanford Sports” shows are free and open to the public starting at 8 p.m. with dinner available before, during and after.  
Looking ahead to the 100th Rose Bowl Game, Stanford will take on a Michigan State team that knocked Ohio State from the ranks of the unbeaten last week, 34-24, to win the Big Ten’s automatic berth into The Granddaddy of The All.”
Tickets for the game are in high demand, and Stanford’s season ticket holders will receive priority access. The only way for non-season ticket holders to guarantee purchase of Rose Bowl Game tickets is to place a deposit for 2014 Stanford season tickets. The ticket office is open 9 a.m.-8 p.m. all week at 1-800-STANFORD. Season ticket deposits can also be made online at Bowl Central.
