Video: Stanford's Chiney Ogwumike joins 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds club
Chiney Ogwumike can add another honor to her long list of accomplishments as Stanford's standout forward. Just a minute and a half into the home game against New Mexico Monday night, Ogwumike hit the 2,000 point and 1,000 rebound career mark, becoming the fifth player in Stanford history to join the club, which includes Stanford all-time leading scorer and Ogwumike's sister, Nneka, who posted 2,491 points and 1,226 rebounds in her college career.
Currently sixth in the nation in scoring while averaging 25 points a game, Ogwumike is a two-time All-American, three-time gold medalist with USA women's basketball (2012 FIBA 3x3 World Championships, 2011 World University Games, and 2010 U18 National Team), and the 2013 Pac-12 Tournament MVP.
