Seven Pac-12 student-athletes named NSCAA Scholar All-Americans

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Seven Pac-12 women's soccer players were named to National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Scholar All-America teams, the NSCAA announced Wednesday. UCLA defender Abby Dahlkemper and midfielders Sarah Killion and Jenna Richmond earned first-team honors while CALIFORNIA defender Emi Lawson and STANFORD forward Courtney Verloo garnered second-team accolades. Also honored as third-team recipients were COLORADO defender Lizzy Herzl and UTAH defender Jenny Hutton. This is the first-career Scholar All-American honor for all seven Pac-12 women’s soccer student-athletes.

To be named to a Scholar All-America Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout his or her career; start more than 50 percent of all games and be a significant contributor to the team.
