Sun Devil Women’s Basketball Hosting Sparky’s Snow Day on Monday

TEMPE, Ariz. - Winter weather is heading to Tempe next Monday in the form of Sparky’s Snow Day. Fans attending the No. 25 Sun Devil women’s basketball team’s game against No. 20 Syracuse on Dec. 30 (6 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena) will have the opportunity to play in snow prior to the game.  

Snow will be in the ASU Arboretum next to Wells Fargo Arena from 4:30-5:30 p.m prior to tip-off. Fans should plan on arriving at the game early to play in the snow and have their picture taken with Sparky (admission will be granted upon fans showing their tickets to the game).

The ticket office in Wells Fargo Arena will open at 4 p.m. on Dec. 30, for those who have not purchased a ticket prior to game day.

Currently 10-1, the Sun Devils enter Monday’s game on a nine-game winning streak. The game against the Orange will be ASU’s second against a ranked opponent this season. Last month the Sun Devils upset current No. 10 North Carolina in overtime.
